Program summary

The Not-For-Profit Network Awards program recognises people, projects, partnerships and organisations who exemplify best practice in the nonprofit sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Awards have a strong focus on individuals, organisations, partnerships and projects whose actions enable the organisation to be more sustainable, are focused on achieving the organisation's vision, and contribute to the organisation's increased success.

The five categories are:

  • Not-For-Profit Network Organisation of the Year
  • Not-For-Profit Network CEO of the Year
  • Not-For-Profit Network Team Member of the Year
  • Not-For-Profit Network Project of the Year
  • Not-For-Profit Network Partnership of the Year
Key dates
Applications close 04 August 2009

Nominations open 21 April 2009.

Who can apply?

People or organisations entering the awards must meet the following criteria for eligibility:

- Award nomination must be submitted by a representative of a not-for-profit organisation.
- Entrant must be based in Australia or New Zealand.
- The submission must relate to an action, activity, project, etc occurring in the past year, although it may have been occurring for longer than the previous 12 months.
- Whichever category you are entering, your reason for recognising this person, project, or activity must work towards achieving your organisation's vision.
- If one of our judges works for your organisation in a paid or voluntary capacity you are not eligible to enter the category that he/she is judging.
- Entries must be received by the Not-For-Profit Network by close of business on 04 August 2009.

What will be funded?

Any nonprofit organisation or individual representing a nonprofit organisation in Australia and/or New Zealand. You do not need to be nominated be another party - i.e. you can self-nominate.
